The plain version: we only have what you send us, we use it to answer you, and we don't sell it.
Seventy Western Creative Ltd. ("we," "us") runs this site. If you have a privacy question, email hello@swcreative.ca.
Only what you choose to send us: your name, your email, what you need, and whatever you write in your message. You send it through the contact form or the "Request full portfolio" button. It reaches us as an email, and a copy is kept on our web host so a message can't get lost. Nothing is sent until you press send.
We don't ask for anything else, and we don't take payments or collect payment details on this site.
We use it to reply to you, work out the project, send you a price or the portfolio you asked for, and keep a record of the conversation. We don't sell your information, rent it out, or add you to a mailing list you didn't ask for.
We use Google Analytics to count visitors and see which pages people look at. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google your IP address, your device and browser details, and the pages you view, so we can read simple reports: how many people visited, where they came from, and which pages and buttons they used. We don't use it to identify you, and we turn off Google's advertising features. We don't run advertising trackers.
Google may handle that data on servers outside Canada, including in the United States. You can say no: block cookies in your browser, use a content blocker, or install Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site works the same either way.
The site also loads its fonts from Google Fonts and a small scrolling script from jsDelivr. That means those services can see your IP address and browser details when a page loads, the same as on any website that uses them.
Some of our photos and video show people at weddings, events, and shoots. If you appear in something on this site and you'd like it taken down, email us and we'll remove it.
We keep your messages while we're working on a project with you or talking about one. After that, we keep them only as long as we reasonably need them for our business records or as the law requires.
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@swcreative.ca and we'll deal with it. If you're not happy with how we handled something, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
